Lanetra King is senior publicist, director of communications and owner of IndieKater PR, a five-star public relations firm. She has been a trailblazer in helping industry experts and influential brands build a reputable public image and increase their credibility through publicity.

Lanetra has nearly a full decade of experience in public relations and boasts both a Master of Science in integrated marketing communications (IMC) from West Virginia University and a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and mass communications majored in public relations from University of South Carolina.

Before starting her own business, the exposure expert worked her talents for nonprofits like the Alston Wilkes Society and Ministry of Hope in Malawi, Africa, corporations like Sears and Verizon Wireless and agencies like Post No Bills with notable clients such as TNT and ESPN.
